HAVE I GOT A DEAL FOR YOU? LUKE’S SPRINKLERS & LANDSCAPING is once again offering a program of two core aerations and three organic fertilizations per season. Adding REVIVE to the program will allow the water and the roots to go deeper into the soil. • We have scheduled the first fertilization and core aeration for March/April to get your lawn off to a good start for spring. • A second application of granular, organic fertilizer in July/August will give your lawn a mid-summer boost. • The third organic fertilizer application and second core aeration will be done in September/October. This will open up the soil to allow more organic fertilizer to get into the soil. This will stimulate roots, encourage winter hardiness and allow air and water to penetrate into the soil. Are just three applications of fertilizer enough? Experts from top horticulture universities recommend fewer applications using greater amount of organic fertilizer per application. You will get better results than by applying chemical fertilizers four or five times per year. Remember, organic fertilizer can’t burn your lawn and it is slow release. It outlasts chemical fertilizer and is SAFER. What about weeds? Regular use of organic fertilizer and core aeration will produce a thick, vigorous lawn. A thick lawn will prevent most weeds from germinating. If some weeds show up, spot treat them. It’s safer and cheaper to apply small amounts of weed control to individual weeds rather than applying large amounts of chemical to your entire lawn. As your soil improves and the lawn thickens, weeds will be less of a problem. What about quality? The product we use is 100% organic. There are fertilizers on the market that are organic based. They are cheaper because they contain chemicals. The chemicals boost the soluble nitrogen, which can defeat the benefit of organic fertilizers. If the nitrogen (the first number of the analysis) is higher than 8%, there is chemical in it. LUKE’S SPRINKLERS AND LANDSCAPING if we have installed your sprinkler system, we have a copy of your blueprint, so we can determine how many square feet of grass area you have. If you already know the size of your lawn area, that will be helpful. Or we will come out and measure the property. Remember, this is more than twice the amount of fertilizer and twice as many aerations as most other companies offer. We will save you money We can bill you per application or you may deduct $25.00 if you pay the full amount in advance by March 27, 2017. Of course, your satisfaction is assured. If for any reason you choose to discontinue the service, we will promptly refund any unused portion of the money you have paid us. Please give this program a try. I know you will be pleased with the service and really proud of your lawn. You can get on our schedule by sending a check or call Gabi with a MASTER CARD, VISA or DISCOVER CARD.
